Trump seems to have lost his mine talking about missiles form the Islamic Republic of Japan.
Iran still has until the end of the 9th to finish their funeral. The US and Ran exchanged fire. First ships tried to violate the MoU and Iran fired on them AFTER warning them and telling them to take a different course.
Very quietly days before this happened two Korean ships and 6 Japanese ships (carrying 100 million barrels of oil) who had been sitting anchored for three months were finally allowed to leave. Mush of that oil will be degraded but better some than one arriving in 3 weeks. These were all ships with oil from Saudi Arabia.
These ships were allowed out because they followed all of Iran demands. AND Saudi Arabia refused to allow the US to use its airspace to attack Iran.
Things were opening up and then Qatar and others tried to hug the coast of Oman and slip out of the Strait. That failed. Iran responded. USA then bombed Sirik six times and they attacked communications towers and radar on some of the islands in the Straight. Two army personnel were killed in the attack on Sirik. Iran then responded to that by hitting Bahraine where US Poseidon aircraft launched. They also hit Kuwait and Jordan. They also struck targets in Qatar something they had not done since the 40 Day War.
It is quite likely things will get heated again once Iran finished its funeral.Israel continues to Bomb Lebanon as we knew they would. The US did not unfreeze any assets and the closed their sanction waiver they only real tangible thing they did in the MoU.
Can the US even do another protracted war? Many think they can’t with the lack of stand off munitions and basically zero missile defense systems.
Au contraire, they absolutely can continue the war. They just cannot continue it very well. Things will get smashed because of the utter lack of defense and sorties will get shot down because of the lower and lower levels of stand off munitions.
As this is happening the war in the North is getting worse. Zelensky is losing on the ground but it striking oil infrastructure with drones. Find a good anti-Drone tech like sky hunter or something and invest. Because everyone is going to want these in the future.
