I remember going with my grand dad around civil war sites in Virginia and learning about History the good the bad and the ugly.

Nowadays they’d call him a Nazi even when he fought the actual real Nazis and after that the North Korean communist.

Learning about wars from him the reality of real war, made me anti-war.

My grand father has killed both Nazis and communists, which is more than any antifa can say. And you want to take down the statues he admires in America the same country he fought for. He is 88 years old and I know he doesn’t like seeing what happened in Charlottesville, especially neo Nazis hijacking the voice for the South. This is something they could not have done without help from the mass media.

In our family unlike most it seems, we learn History and learn from it. It’s not a Disney story. War is hell. Every soldier whose been in a formidable war understands what other soldiers had to endure.
