Use this form to submit a request to have your subscription on the old billing system canceled

In August of 2020, ANC Report switched over to a new billing system for processing subscriptions. This new system allows much more control for the user to manage their subscriptions through the profile section of the site. Many users are reporting that they have an active subscription that they are being billed for, but it is not showing up in their profile and they do not have membership benefits. This is usually due to the fact that they have signed up for a subscription on the old billing system prior to August of 2020. The emails listed below on this page were sent to every user who had an active subscription to inform them of this change and that they would need to personally request any cancelations of their subscriptions on the old system. Many users replied to us to have this change made, but many did not and for those users we have not made any unrequested changes to their subscription status. If you are one of those users and would now like to have your subscription on the old system canceled, please submit a request using this form.

Hello everyone,

My name is Ricky and I am assisting Ryan Dawson with the support of ANC Report. You are receiving this message because you have an active or past-due subscription to ANC Report that was created prior to September 1st, 2020.

As you may or may not know, the ancreport.com website was updated to a newer and more reliable subscription payment system at the start of September. While the old payment system passed billing information to our external payment gateway, the new payment system initiates transactions through our website directly, allowing us to deliver a better user experience to our users. For example, the new payment system gives users full control to renew, upgrade, or cancel their subscription through our website while the old system did not give such control. Unfortunately, this means that many users are still being charged through the external payment gateway without getting any benefits through our website (such as membership or access to The Empire Unmasked) and have no way to cancel it.

We have decided not to cancel these subscriptions as a whole for our users because many of you have chosen to willingly contributing these payments to the organization as a donation with no expectation of a reward. However, many of you have initiated these subscriptions specifically to gain access to content on the website and may wish to end the old subscription. While we have already manually given access to any content purchased under the old billing system to these users under our new system, I have not canceled the recurring billing plans that were maintained in the third party payment gateway.

What this means for you:
In order to cancel the billing plan on our old subscription system, please respond to this email letting me know that you would like to cancel it. For those who have been paying for access to premium content through our old system and have not been getting that access, please respond to this email and let me know so that I can grant access to your account.

You are receiving this message because you are currently subscribed to one of the membership plans on ancreport.com. As you may or may not know, we have been working very hard lately to improve the ANC Report website and Discord server and will soon be announcing many new features. One of these features is an improved membership subscription system. We have replaced our previous subscription system with a new, tiered system of membership levels: Peasant, Artisan, Knight, Paladin, and Rainbow Frog.

Because you are a member who has a currently active subscription, we have converted your old membership to our improved system. You have been granted a membership level based on the dollar amount of your previous subscription:

High Five  ->  Peasant

Hang Ten  ->  Artisan

Jackson  ->  Knight

Quarter Ben  ->  Knight + The Empire Unmasked Rental

Second Best Decade  ->  Paladin

The Benjamin  ->  Rainbow Frog

We are currently working on fleshing out the membership plan details and adding more perks for our members. Currently, all members can expect to gain access to mp3 versions of podcasts and videos on the site as well as access to the members-only section of our Discord server where Ry will be posting exclusive content. Artisan level members will gain access to all civil war and woodshed content. Knights will gain all previous perks and will have the ability to comment on the site. Paladins will gain all previous benefits as well as access to all movies (currently The Empire Unmasked and How Terrorists Formed a Nation). Finally, Rainbow Frogs will gain all previous benefits as well as “Chad” level membership on the Discord server, which will give the user the option of participating in future call-in shows.

We have also implemented a website firewall due to a series of DDOS and spam attacks that have targeted our web server. If you are unable to log in due to this firewall, please email us at support@ancreport.com with your IP address so we can add you to our firewall whitelist and give you access.

Please note that while the membership access that you have already paid for has been manually granted to your account, we are unable to initiate a billing plan for the new membership levels for security purposes. Any currently active paid subscription plan you have on the site will still take effect and will not apply to our new membership system.
