If someone wants to run a red light, they should free to do so, because that's their freedom, regardless if it may kill others and increase insurance rates and the number of people in emergency rooms and medical insurance and taxes for those paying for those without insurance and so on and so on.
If someone wants to kill another, they should have that freedom, because who cares if we remove one less person from the planet. It's better for the ecosystem. It doesn't matter if that person had to support a family and was a beneficial part of society.
There is no law in the Qur'an that does not benefit individuals and society as a whole. Simple minded people look at the tiny details, yet fail to look at the big picture. The family structure is so important in the Qur'an, that even a divorced women has to wait 3 months before marrying to make sure that she isn't pregnant with her previous husband, to ensure that the lineage of each person continues.
Atheists, who only look at life as a two dimensional structure, fail to identify the wisdom in Islamic laws.
You need to step back and look outside of the triangle.
Joe I used to think that once back when I first started posting here, but then I came to a realization. People who think like that are not productive citizens period, and quite frankly get in trouble very early on because of this mindset. Very few of these people here seem to be under the age of 15, and that's when it usually starts showing. None of these people seem to be lifers in the federal pen, so I'm pretty well inclined to think they do have some sort of structure in their lives, they just don't need some invisible dude with a pointy hat and a long beard to tell them what's OK and what's not.
By the way I stepped outside of the triangle, took a look, and got my whole life practically ruined. Thanks but no thanks, save the "you're going to hell" piece, I've lived through hell and came out on the other side.
Oh yea and you still have yet to tell me what wisdom lies in allowing a man to marry multiple women but not the other way around. Not that I have an interest in marrying 4 guys, dudes are whiney and needy, and one is enough for me, but it does not make sense that a man can marry 4 women and the wife has no friggin say in it whatsoever. To hell with her even if she is hurt by the move. Oh and if she's jealous, it's
HER fault.
As if!
There's no logic in that.
