whats your opinion of Glenn Beck?

A couple of my family members think he's the most reliable as far as news anchors are concerned.

I also got this e-mail the other day from them..

If you can, watch Glen Beck at 9 o,cloclk tonight. He is going to have a guy on there talking about end times. He also has written a book
Dead Heat.

Joel C. Rosenberg - Dead Heat

Anybody read this btw? Or know anything about this author?

I didn't get to watch the Glen Beck hit piece, but I know what she was trying to get at here. The rapture (which she believes in) & their most "reliable" news anchor = win!

Anybody have opinions on either?

Everyone in the MSM is terrible. The best one if you were forced to pick would be Bill Meyer of PBS who is not really MSM any more, John Stossle and probably followed by a good distance Keith Olberman.

Beck is better than say well anyone atr Fox but that is not saying much.

TBO I'm not very familiar with Glenn Beck. I hardly ever watch the mainstream news that much. I've only seen him via youtube here and there.

I understand he is pro-war, but that is about it.

What I'm trying to find out is.. how exactly is he a piece of shit/zionist/neocon shill? Besides him being the 3rd top paid news anchor on mainstream television.

Glenn Beck is a pro-war conservative, plain and simple.

But at least he's a REAL conservative(besides foreign policy) that cares about limited government and fiscal responsibilty. He's not one of those Sean Hannity/Bill O'Reilly types that just hate gays and muslims.

BUT.

Yeah Glenn Beck likes to balance his Muslim hate with big spending "hate". He's no real conservative when he complains about tiny little things like earmarks or whatever but totally believes that a 3 trillion dollar war of aggression is completely justified. Fuck him. Pro war conservative is an oxymoron. War, especially the types of "wars" we're fighting to do, are in no way conservative, they are extremely radical. And I believe Jesse Ventura was right when he said that the dirt bags like Hannity, Limbaugh, etc aren't even expressing their own ideas and views but instead using the talking points that their producers gave them. They put their little spin on it or whatever though to draw in listeners.
