Nah it's not like that, if Ron Paul called me a bitch I wouldn't vote for himLost Scribe wrote:you know that's like saying 'well Edward does call me a bitch like John but at least he won't come kill me like John will, which is why I like Edward.'

I look at the overall effect shit's gonna have & base my decision on that. Rational decisions instead of emotional ones. I'd much rather have Ron Paul as pres. than any of the rest of the 'top tier' shills I don't care what you say. Like you said, spreading the facts is the main fight. This is just like support stuff to me, I'm not expecting a damn president to be perfect.
Buchanan is a total bucket of shit. No one here like Buchanan. And our reasons for opposing illegal immigration have nothing to do with him. Buchanan talk about shit like preserving the white race etc the guy is almost a lunatic.
But the welfare state is bad. And saying that most people on welfare are white people doesn't mean anything because it is only in your own mind and paradigm that this is what its about. So what if lot's of white people have welfare? Totally irrelevant. We don't like the welfare state for anyone.
I am fine with welfare for the handicapped and elderly and so on but the system we have now is terrible and encourages mooches of all walks of life.
I don't think you understand what is happening at all. The US purposely destroying Mexican agrarian society through NAFTA and government subsidized farms. That is what cause million of Mexicans to lose work and flood their own cities and drive down wages and then in turn cross the Border and do the same in Texas and California etc.
Paul's plan is the one that would work. You can't just close the border and say aw fuck them its their problem. It's our problem because the US and Mexican governments created it. You also can't just leave the border open and allow illegals to cross so that they can be exploited by US corporations and often abused. And the welfare state is hurting them the mass influx of new needy people has cause some hospitals to close. Separate from that is it is not just needy people crossing the border there is also a great deal of drug and illegal arms traffic as well.
The way to fix it is not with amnesty we did that in the 80s and it just made things worse. The way to fix things is to End NAFTA and the welfare state because then there would not be such a need to come to the US in such a hurry that they couldn't just wait the 4-6 months it takes to get a legal visa and come legally and work and pay taxes just like every other American.
Here I wrote about it 3 years ago.

This shows how ignorant you are about this issue. NAFTA is free trade only in name. Clinton crerated and Paul voted against it and has always been against it. I knew you didn't know what NAFTA was.also Paul is for free market principles which is what the fraud of NAFTA is based upon... he just doesn't want the formality of the federal government endorsing it...

viewtopic.php?t=658&highlight=naftaNAFTA and US agribusiness (free market my ass)
Ok so the Hype about NAFTA in the 80s was it would be a win win situation for Mexico and the US. The US would get cheaper good thus allowing its consumers to save money and up their standards of living in return Mexico would get a flood of businesses to create jobs yatta yatta yatta.
Turns out that was All crap…
What it really did (and what we knew it would do) was allowed the giant US agribusiness (which you all know acts as a medium to subsidize drug companies. See this
link if you don’t know about that, and scan down for drug companies.)
US agribusiness has nearly endless government backing so when they move into Mexico, Mexican farms can not compete with the American’s government assisted monopoly. This drives the Mexican farmers out of business and off the farms and into the cites, by the millions. That massive population shift drives down the wages and destroys any labor movements. Mexico City is the largest in population density in the world.
Then the US corporate companies move into the newly populated cities and get super cheap labor, and in desperation many Mexicans try to flee to the US. And after farmers are driven out and the land monopolized by the US’s agribusiness, the US can start leasing out parts of that farm land it doesn’t need since it can easily import crops from the US farms. So they hand the land over to more US corporations, creating corporate towns by having the giants start driving out local markets. Thus the US controls the production and distribution of food. You all know how Walmarts work on destroying small businesses and business diversity/competition. Well, multiply that by 10 and you Got Mexico under NAFTA.
In facts today wages have dropped 30 percent from the levels they were at Pre-NAFTA. The Mexican poverty rate has doubled. When you undermined the work force by flooding the cities from monopolizing the agriculture with our communist practices of farm subsidies you drive down wages, which in turn drives down consumerism in general because people have no expendable income. This drys up the market allowing a concentration of wealth and a monopoly over products. The wealthy simply don’t sell the goods in Mexico, they manufacture their good their with the cheap labor and then sell them in the US. But they keep the prices high, and why not? Just because they are saving on manufacturing doesn’t mean they have to pass the savings on the US consumers. No, they just keep the increase in the profits for themselves.
And with Bush’s tax cuts for the wealthy, they aren’t even paying taxes. As Businesses close in Mexico because the money supply is tight (from banks) and because the wages are low since workers are so replaceable, there are less jobs. This causes wages to drop even more as people are willing to work for less since it is hard to find pay at all. It just keeps cycling. Meanwhile Mexico has to pay off debts for the US’ foods form their agribusinesses. Mexico can’t pay it so what do they do? they lease away more of their land to US corporations.
The poverty has many effects, it leads to drug use and crime and feeds into another huge US business and that’s the jail-and-court system which feeds on the drug war.. but that’s too big of a tangent. I could go on and on about all of this but to get to another point. This State orchestrated induced poverty and cheap labor causes racism. As people unaware of the market manipulations in Mexico assume that Mexico is in poverty and has all these problems because Mexicans live there.
Riding on the wave of resentment and frustration are also racist Mexican groups who blame not the American and Mexican governments for their ills but instead they blame white people, they blame 'Americans'. Group like La Rasa (the race) and others just add to more anti-Mexican racism. Equally stupid non-Mexicans react to these groups and Mexican immigrants. They blame The Mexicans for their problems rather than the Mexican and American governments.
ON the US side of it Americans are losing manufacturing jobs not to mention its our taxes subsidizing the giant agribusinesses which allow them to out compete all the agriculture in Mexico and else where. This is the danger of creating super state sponsored monopolies, these type of economic land games have been official aristocratic plans since the time of land-lords and serfs.

Well a lot of people are ignorant about the issue not just Khanverse. And it is not that they are dumb, Khanverse and people like him are misinformed and they get swept up in what I call Liberal hot buttons. It is pretty easy to color things in terms of race or religion or sex etc and just take an entire topic off track into some bullshit paradigm between X vs Y and they keep people divided that way.
In highschool kids are just bombarded with racial issues making them hyper sensitive about it and some tend to blame any and every problem on racism. Any issue the Liberals want to put forward they can do by associating it with race, sex, or the environment.
If they want "hate-crime" laws they act like it is about protecting gays or races when it is really about limiting free speech and censoring any criticism of Israel or Jewish groups like the lobby and ADL. If they want to control real estate and manipulate businesses they pass a "climate control act" or a "Carbon tax" both have nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with expansion of government and globalization. And the border issue to, there is nothing free trade about NAFTA or CAFTA CAFTA was shot down in large part because of Ron Paul by the way. If one side gets government subsidies and the other does not then that is not free market by definition. You can't get money from the government and call it free market. Getting money from the government is state control of industry that's communism and that is what the US is. Read my book or borrow it form someone, Welcome to the USSA.
Or just go read for free USSA on the hub. It explains a lot of it.
We need free markets right now we don't have any but on the lowest levels. Medical, Weapons, Dugs, Energy, Food, etc all tied to the government. All quasi communist.
As for Chavez I support him in that he is better than any other choices they have had. Still the best thing for Venez or anyone else is to tell the IMF to fuck off but it is hard because that is how you ended up killed by the CIA. And they tried to get Chavez twice. His socialism is in defense against the US's by privatizing his oil he and his crew can be the profiteers and spend what they decide on the country but that's better than allowing US businessmen to do it because they wouldn't give anything back.

Amazing how simple things can get when you stop seeing the world in either black and white. Certain people would do well to learn this.I am fine with welfare for the handicapped and elderly and so on but the system we have now is terrible and encourages mooches of all walks of life.
Buck the neocons. Fuck 'em too.

Agreed, welfare is actually more expensive to upkeep than other forms of 'handouts'But the welfare state is bad. And saying that most people on welfare are white people doesn't mean anything because it is only in your own mind and paradigm that this is what its about. It's all messed up, people don't really gain that much, it's totally inefficient...I am fine with welfare for the handicapped and elderly and so on but the system we have now is terrible and encourages mooches of all walks of life.
I don't think you understood what I was saying... opening borders destroys the order of things and allows exploitation, you have a tendency of readin what I write quickly and responding without fully understanding what I'm saying, making me repeat myself.. but paul's ad appears to be saying what buchanan and AJ say, not anything to help mexicans...I don't think you understand what is happening at all. That is what cause million of Mexicans to lose work and flood their own cities and drive down wages and then in turn cross the Border and do the same in Texas and California etc.
I know what what nafta is homie, my points are all valid...This shows how ignorant you are about this issue. NAFTA is free trade only in name. Clinton crerated and Paul voted against it and has always been against it. I knew you didn't know what NAFTA was.
There is no "liberal" or "socialist" "misunderstanding" of "free market principles."
you or anyone else can define or interpret what it means on your own if you feel like, it doesn't have any bearing on what it means for others
Here I wrote about it 3 years ago.
That's a good essay, I succintly stated a similar idea... and I clarified that Paul doesn't want the government to formally PARTAKE or allow it nor give them tax breaks, but that "free market" however you define it inevitably leads to exploitation of the indigenous with their own resources by big business (mncs)... and explained how monopolies work with random examples from industrial revolution, the sequel.NAFTA and US agribusiness (free market my ass)

This is where we disagree...Getting money from the government is state control of industry that's communism and that is what the US is.
There is no state CONTROL, the state is used to subsidize it but it is not owned by government, it's stealing from the government, this is all semantics, which is why I don't think it's communism, it's fascism...
The industrial complexes that exist on so many levels are ENABLED through the mechanics of government, they are not CONTROLLED by government, government is HIJACKED to fit the policies of multinational corporations.
Look @ the pharmaceutical industry... Sure, the FDA exists, but it ACQUIESCES to the demands of the wealthy pharmaceutical companies and their lobbyists which is why despite insufficient testing, and despite problems with drugs, they are 'allowed' and big pharma rakes in BILLIONS and the state doesn't benefit at all..
Similarly the military industrial complex made up of a wide variety of defense firms (some which actually 'compete' with another for bids) owned by PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS hijack the state apparatus to rake in profits from war, the "state" again doesn't benefit...
it's like the fed, the fed is another private corporation that tries to disguise itself as state run because the president can pick the chairman, but the fed is actually the biggest reason this place is so weak now... the US is basically a shell with no real production or manufacturing anymore, except in the service sector and with a hyper military which is also getting weaker because it is overextended...
The STATE doesn't run anything, it has a lot of "departments" that are used as a means to an end that serve the corporations, special interest groups and bankers...
Despite my distate for his sensationalism, Perkins explains this well, in confessions of an economic hitman...
it's all semantics...
communism is a fabrication of the bankers as well to split folks in the world into two camps, both of which they would run, to FIGHT and DESTROY one another...
Khan you said Paul supported free market like NAFTA just go scroll up. I just schooled you showing how NAFTA is not free market and Paul has never agreed with NAFTA he voted against it and wants to get rid of it. Paul will get rid of NAFTA and the IMF and will prevent illegals from coming over the border for the several different good reasons. Stop exploited labor, stop illegal drugs, and stop the possible easy entry of terrorists. And on the Drug issue that's not all either because Paul would legalize most of the drugs that are illegal thus taking away their street market value.I don't think you understood what I was saying... opening borders destroys the order of things and allows exploitation, you have a tendency of readin what I write quickly and responding without fully understanding what I'm saying, making me repeat myself.. but paul's ad appears to be saying what buchanan and AJ say, not anything to help mexicans.
Actually is is run by the government the very same individuals in those corporations getting the money work in the DOD and in the President's cabinet and they are all invested in through private held equit frims who engage in insider trading by taking state officials money and venture capitalist and investing it in the companies they know will profit because they are also allocate the states money into those same companies. Many BOD members and CEO's work in both the government and the corporations. The state does control the industry because they decide who gets to have the virtual monopoly. If you got a company selling whatever and I got one backed by the government it is easy for my company to wipe yours out in no time. go read this http://www.ancreport.com/forum/hub/get/post/articles.php?id=1There is no state CONTROL, the state is used to subsidize it but it is not owned by government, it's stealing from the government, this is all semantics, which is why I don't think it's communism, it's fascism...
it's your homework.
