Each state will have a rally at their capital. North Carolina and Virginia have already taken the lead. (Update add Texas, Florida and Tennessee as well.) Do get this message out. Follow up the money bomb with State by State rallies.
We need Ron Paul to win. I have a plan to help the money bomb. A 50 STATE RALLY AT EACH OF THE CAPITAL BUILDINGS. I will be in Raleigh NC on the 16th to lead a rally with the meet up group there and anyone else who wants to come. Meet at the days inn on Dawson street in downtown Raleigh 10am. Bring your own signs and wear Ron Paul shirts and hats if possible.

Buy a Ron Paul shirt or hat from his website. They make great Christmas gifts as well.
We will march from Dawson street to the capital building then loop back around the science museum to the large grass area between it and the state congress building. This will make the local news if we can get enough people.
Now who will lead a rally in Tennessee? California? Vermont? Texas? There is an army of patriots out there waiting to be led. I am stepping up for NC. If I could be in all 50 states to lead I would do it. We need a rally in all 50 states that is the goal. All of us at 10am for each time zone start our march to the capitals to be heard.
In conjunction with the money bomb this will be huge. It is worth the effort. It is time to rise up. Ron Paul killed my apathy and awoke my inner patriot. Who will step up tp lead in the other states? I want to see someone reply and say General I will lead the Rally in Michigan, I will lead in Arkansas.
It is time to get off our asses and lead these rallies on the 16th. We have two weeks to contact meet up groups and organize. Hell a dozen people will do, 30 is good but in Raleigh we will have at least 100. Who of you has the passion and the energy to lead?
This is about ending an unjust war. This is about getting rid of the patriot act and the homeland security act. This is about killing the Federal Reserve and restoring our liberties. 2 weeks is all we have... feel free to repost this any and everywhere. Spread the word and lets make this happen. Be a part of history. Stand up for your rights.

Make sure to take lots of Pictures. Put Carolina on the map. This was your idea, it is neet that you're meeting on Dawson Street. I went there when I lived in Durham.
I believe they are rallying in Richmond VA as well. I dont know what other states are doing what. I am meeting with two other Ron Paul supporters in a Japan rally as well. Since we have a lot of servicemen here and a lot of Americans just living/working in Japan.

we have between 7 to 12 driven up from the obx to raleigh. the number will grow as the weeks roll on. how many in richmond? i wish the tea party site would post this idea. i tried to contact them about it but got no response. can anyone spread this idea to other forums?

If you have contact with these meetup groups tell them all to take pictures of the event that is the most important thing. The press is going to ignore them but the web can force them to cover it by covering it ourselves.

I've gotten a hold of the Houston meetup groups and there's going to be a hwy 59 march for a few and the rest of us want to head to the Capital.
I heard Dallas is trying to stay put too. So I guess it's not just people wanting to march at the capital but in every city. I hear some people in Seattle are going to march.

Should we be hunkered behind our screens watching the total grow - -or should we be out on the street celebrating and reaching people with the Freedom Message? You know the answer! Not only will we have a prime opportunity to share the excitement of the Ron Paul Revolution with the American people, we will also have a HUGE opportunity to get attention from local news media.
The Austin Tea Party will start at the Capitol building and will end at the Congress Avenue Bridge. We will make crates and stencil them to symbolize that which we want to "throw overboard."

We will meet at the Capitol building where we'll listen to our fellow Ron Paul Patriots remind us of the wisdom of our forefathers by reciting quotes from Samuel Adams, Thomas Jefferson, other founding fathers and yes -- RON PAUL! For those of you who have period costumes, this is a great chance to show them off again! For the rest, wear your Ron Paul shirts, hats and buttons.
Then we'll march from the Capitol down Congress Avenue carrying our symbolic crates and Ron Paul signs, creating a great visual for the evening news. We'll proceed to Lady Bird Lake (route to be puslished soon) where we'll load the crates onto boats and canoes and have a short ceremony, saying a few words about each item as we toss the items overboard to the cheers of the assembled patriots!
Afterwards, we'll share bottles of LiberTEA for FREEdom and gather at a location TBD to watch from a laptop with a wireless connection the money being raised across the country in support of our message.
The visual quality of this event will be very appealing to the news media, who will be looking for something to accompany the reports of over $10 Million being raised by Ron Paul supporters across the Country.
We will be promoting this event across Texas and we need a creative team to get to work on the crates! If you can help, please also RSVP for our December 9th work party.
