Definitely War on Iran is very dangeriuos for US and it is not in favor of US even the Neo-cons.Becasue they may loose their puppet Arab dictators and no doubt people of Mideast won't vote for someone whom US wants(As in Palestine or Iran)...
The fate of oil and Gas would be unpredictable.Iran has full control over strait of Hurmoz where 1/3 of World's oil is being shipped.US governments have proved that sometimes they may do something against US interests,only because of Israel.Imagine what US would gain if it didn't support Israel.(All people og Mideast were US friends!)

During Iran-Iraq ,Iran took hostage from many countries including Europeans and many Arab ,African countries.Saddam was helped by EU,Arabs,US ,Russia,...What was the result?! The only solution to get rid of Iranians is to kill all of them(70 millions) at once,because if they decide to kill only e.g 1 million ,then others would create a burning hel for invadors,as they did to Saddam and his supporters.

The only entity that would benefit from a US withdrawl from the Mid East would be the European Union . Israel would wither and die if America left the Mid East . The US controls EU oil distribution , this generates some $1 Trillion a year into the US economy , the EU can only benefit from an American withdrawl .
