Is Al-Sadr good for Iraq?
I think al-sadr would make a good leader, he's very nationalist and believes in unity, from the little I have read about him he seems a reasonable person, I agree with you sangre the problem is the ocupying force and this occupation as last since the first world war, this sectarian violence is not recent it was introduced by the british, the problem is not the religion is the manipulation of culture they suffered in the last 100 years, the solution is to have some kind of honest leadership who can influence the people and unity them so they can overthrow the regimes occupying their nations specialy the Saudi royal family, the backward rules and punishments in sharia laws and the acceptance of royal bloodlines and such is just because its in the culture, I dont think it can be achieved without violence because the society is very close minded and peaceful solutions are exhausted, the taliban and other fundamentalists doctrine are products of that culture, supported by western powers so they can control things so much easier with the violence rangging everywhere and lack of unity.
The amount of poverty and suffering required for the emergence of a Rockefeller, and the amount of depravity that the accumulation of a fortune of such magnitude entails, are left out of the picture, and it is not always possible to make the people in general see this. - Ernesto Che Guevara
Based on the available answers I voted yes straight up (and I believe I was right, at least in principle).
Muqtada Al-Sadr is a Nationalist, which is good when Zionists are trying to divide the country. He has apparently banished those in the 'Mahdi Army' who carry out secterian killings. Though you must ask yourself - when the media says they are murdering Sunnis, are they killing innocent women and children or are they killing Mercenary or Al Qaeda sympathizers or Grassers to the US forces?
One can't judge a conflict solely based on rough alliance of religious sects because it simply isn't accurate to the actual situation.

They love to talk about Iran but refuse to shed light on their own illegal operations!
Well Israel never signed the treaty it really isnt "illegal".
Here are some laws they have broke:

No the targets do not need to be the pawns on the occupiers. It needs to be the contractors/mercenaries.
American forces are not spread thin. The US could whipe out Iran in 6 or 7 days with out even going in on the ground. All they have to do is nuke them or just bombed them for 72 hours with conventional bombs. There is not a damn thing Iran can do about it. The US vs Iraqi death count is 650 to 3. That is a total ass whupping and if the Americans gave a shit about their troops which they dont they could armor up their vehicles more and have better body armor and then you would see almost no American deaths. The British Armor their troops. They lost less than 100.
The ME has no chance at physically defeating the occupation they are 50 years behind in technology. Making the troops the main target is lke slapping a guys fists instead of hitting him in the head. They need to target the money. They have to kill the contractors because that is why we are their in the first place is to profiteer.
They should blow up pipelines, the more gas costs the more pissed off Americans will be and the more anti-war they get. They dont give a fuck aobut the troops despite their silly yellow ribbon stickers on their SUVs. They care about their wallets and the way to effect that is for the Iraqis to target the corporate occupaiers that the soldiers are over there protecting. They are not innocent they are theives.
No offense Ry but my order of targets is different. British and American coalition forces are the primary targets. Ambush their supply lines and destroy their outposts and bombard their bases. The second primary target is the mercenary contractors and any contractors helping the war effort. Next comes the Iraqi puppets of the occupation. Corrupt police and politicians like Al-Maliki whose support depends on the Americans and not the people of Iraq.
Under NO circumstance should civilians or holy places be attacked. I would not destroy infrastructure or attack civil engineers, reporters, or foreign aid workers. That kind of nonsense hurts the cause.

Why aren't people discussing the U.S & Israeli influence in fanning the flames of sectarian voilence?
The So called Shia Death squads are actually funded by U.S. Our only reliance on Iraq is the MSM, and i highly doubt that the daily car bombs are being orchestrated by Iraqis or "Al-Qeada". The US, Israel, Britian have a hand in escalating the sectarian voilence.
Sunni & Shia Iraqis have lived side by side in relative harmony for centuries, unti this war there was no sectarian voilence, or atlest no on a systamtic level.

7 to 6 vote. Basically the Muslims voted yes and everyone else voted no.
This is why this crap works. Iraq is full of Muslims and smart or not they are going to fall for it. They are suckers for attaching power to religion so it works everytime and it is so easy to divide them.
