It wont happen. That is how Nam ended, people with money had a chance of getting killed.

Unless the neo-cons promote themselves to ranks where they are kept out of fighting.

I dont think "privileged" kids have a chance of dying (except maybe from friendly fire!). Im very worried about the "new draft" personally (have been since it was introduced). A good current example of privileged kids in warfare is Prince Harry. He's in the service, will he see combat? Doubt it. He says publicly he wants to lead on the front line. Right or wrong may be his reasoning, but lets assume he's being truthfull regardless of why he wants to be on the front line. It won't happen. Many people within his gov't dont want him to go because he would be a "high priced scalp" (nice terminology ... quoted from an AP article quoting some dick head...), the mere fact that he is so high profile would keep him from being placed in that position. Look at Bush in his airforce fatigues...just another photo op. Did he serve? Yeah, did he see any kind of combat...no. I think I remember reading things about him goin AWOL as well. There are plenty of desk jobs to be filled by the privileged people, and if the parents in power so deem it, thats where they'll go. Fighting is for the pawns only these days, has been for a while. Fortunatley, in life - like chess, the pawn is the most powerful piece on the chess board since it has the ability to become any other chess piece. We are the pawns, and its time to get the mating net ready for these assholes in charge. a8Q....

They will not have a draft. It would cause political hell for them and it is much much easier and cheaper to hire out mercinairies who are not even subject to military law. Like BLackwater INC.

I think the 9/11 truth movement is a big thing that's keeping the draft and absolute tyranny away. Along with the exposure of the WMD lies which is even more mainstream.
