depends on the circumstances. when DBS said that thing about you i would be genuinely surprised if that emotional reaction did not produce a physical one (increased heartbeat, blood pressure, sick feeling inside) those are the type of things one has very limited control over, its like if someone slaps you, you have no control over the intensity of the pain.
