This was a great video, I watched the DVD. It's cheaper to produce energy centrally then for all these cars moving around with their own power plant. It's ridiculous. Of course they'll make electric cars complicated on purpose so they are prohibitively expensive to repair and maintain just like gasoline cars when realistically they should be user serviceable, just like an electric toy remote control car

Who killed the cold fusion electric car?

Never heard of it?

Not surprised.

Back in the 70's I personally witnessed the day view of a remarkable Dodge muscle car. Not one build by Dodge however, just the body. And yes I'm old. It was red and had a clear plastic hood. Under the hood was only an nondescript block, a few wires and such and none of the other hoses and such you would expect to see. After talking to the inventor, who's name I wish I remember, he decided to show me how well it worked and tell me every little detail. Some of what he said I understood from military training I had received. I climbed into the car with him at the wheel. He flipped a switch and nothing seemed to happen. He told me to buckle up as this was going to be a ride. He put it in gear and pressed the accelerator. Now I have built some monster cars, but this thing had at least 500 hp and made little or no sound accept for tire noise. Quite a ride. Excited to know when I would be getting one of my own, we talked at length. He was arranging all the details for production and hoped to put the oil companies out of business. Little more was ever heard of him or the car but the Federal government did pass a law banning nuclear powered cars. Maybe someone who has the time and inclination could at least find a reference to the Law but probably never find a record of the man or the car.

No this is not a bull shit story. I did in fact personally witness this car.

Was cold fusion mentioned in the film Ry?

I must have missed that, as I had the volume low whilst my kids were asleep.

I well recall Steven E Jones 'I can barely run a flashlight' cold fusion work. Gotta hand it to the guy, he was able to make a salary two fold, by pretending to do anything of any possible useage with his day job for an academic slice of pie, whilst simultaneously appealing to, yet dampening, the flames of the 'free energy' wishful thinkers desires.

Almost as bad was his Jesus in the Latin Americas work. Although he was perhaps ahead of Zeitgeist, in almost realisng for himself at least, that the dying-rising gods of whereever and whenever, are of cosmological reasoning in their observed earthly worship. http://www.bastison.net/RESSOURCES/Farc ... _Jesus.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

He did get something right though.

His Solar Funnel Cooker, which via small modifications of the 'Windshield' or 'Fun Panel II' designs, becomes a practical and efficient solar cooker design.

His funnel cooker potentially remains the only solar cooker capable of making ice at night aswell.

Any chance of altering the threads title to indicate the sequel is here aswell?

I found it far less appealing than the original personally, as very little detail of the potential or capabilities of these 'new' and now, 'mass production' machines was demonstrated, nor was any insight into the needed infrastructure to support them, battery technologies, fight against the oil lobby or anything else showcased in this sequel film.

Purely the struggle to get them made at all and no incentive given to want to push for that, or justify the needed resources that will be required to keep such vehicles upon the road. No mention of Afghanistans supplies of lithium prompting Obomba to announce financial incentives to make use of it, at the cost of lives and drones etc etc. They didnt't even show the legal battle between Tesla motors and the BBCs Jeremy Clarksons 'Top Gear' episode that rightly or wrongly portrayed Tesla in a worse light.

Not what I was expecting at all from this sequel personally. How about you?
