It is without question that more Blacks had their Civil Rights violated in New Orleans. But that maybe true primarily because more of the victims of Katrina were Black. All people involved in the areas of Katrina had their Rights violated. Injustice prevailed unabated.
I knew and supported Dr. King. I am not black, nor were most of his supporters. I believe he was assassinated by the government so that the corporate media would be able to spread their lies without opposition of this Great Leader.
In the beginning he (Dr. King) did focus on black Civil Rights violations for obvious reasons. As his support became less ethnic, he realized that Civil Rights was not just a black issue and adjusted to a more Universal Theme.
He was brilliant. His popularity and support spread exponentially. Though most of his points of violation were among blacks, this was the beginning of a wider movement against Civil Rights violation which would include every legal resident of the US. The History has been flawed by the corporate media, and all the sheeple believe.
Glean from his example and gain wider support. Civil Rights is not just a Black issue. I support you and am not black.

well the man basically said that New Orleans poor neighbourhouds was purposedly flooded because the police detonated the dikes sustainaing the water in a way that only the poor black people houses were flooded so the rich and white people along with some poor near them received no water flooding their streets, he also tells that out of 200 hundred thousand that left the city only 25 got back to their houses and a big percentage of the rest is hold in concentration camps guarded with armed guards and birbed wire across the country, the reason he went to Venezuela is because they heard about the comunal councils, that is organized communities that manage and develop their neighbourhoud so they too did one in U.S and went and see how it works in Venezuela wanting to join to the network of comunal councils but as an extension outside Venezuela, they also did not receive the aid money Venezuela Government send to them (2 million) because it went to the red cross and never got to them, I think that was it.
edit:I will probably manage to get the video soon, talked with some people.
