You see the classic divide and conquer here. NOthing is so easy to exploit as religioud conflicts because they can not be rationally resolved because both sided are entrenched in irrationality to begin with and can only when through force.
Sad.
Why cant the Sunnis and Shiite turn their combinded atention to the Zionist Christians and Jews? Oh thats right because they are also religious fucking idiots concerned more about their own power than over justice.

The Sunni Militas in Lebanon are just there to cause anarchy. it 's more about Lebanon's sovereignty at this point. If hezbollah backs the Militas, then Lebanese will not support Hezbollah. The Sunni Militas are not even Lebanese to begin with, neither are they Palestinian.
They(Hezbollah) know what's going on, the militias are only there to cause anarchy, backed by the U.S and Lebanese Government. They make it seem like Lebanon cannot protect it's borders, so that the Government has another excuse to put more Foreign troops in Southern Lebanon.
Besides, the Sunni Militas in this case hate Shias to begin with. There really isn't going to be any co-existence with Hezbollah, considering their ideological differences.

Start from pos #29. "Learned" i think does a great job of clarifying what is going on....especially considering he resides in Southern Lebanon.

They are to oLebanese they just are shiites. thats the problem with the middle east they run by religious monarchies and each has to have its own land because none of them can get along.
Exactly HOW is it a reason to kill people over the stupid arguement over who was Mohammad's successor centuries ago?
So called Sunnis groups are now boot licking the Zionist. Israel does not want to lose any of its own so they are using them. It is surprizing that the Lebanese army is fighting anyone. Exactly waht is the Sunnis said motive for these attacks? Does anyone know or are they just assumed to be religious driven madmen?
Personally I hope both sides tare eachother apart because they both support Israel. Hezbollah should stay out of it. They should sit back and laugh at their enemies fighting each other.

That's what hezbollah is doing. Staying out of the conflict. I think the people behind the Sunni Militant group want Hezbollah to get involved. They're doing their best to stay passive and they are putting Lebanese Sovereignty over anything else.
I think the Sunni Militans are just being used as patsies by the Sinora Government. They want these Militant groups to form a counterbalance to Hezbollah.

http://www.shiachat.com/forum/index.php ... &p=1411033There are several points that need to be cleared up:
1. Fath al-Islam are not a Palestinian faction. Of the members that have been killed thus far, 10 are Lebanese , 4 are Syrians, and 3 are Saudis, in addition to Yemenis, Algerians, Tunisians and Bengladeshi's. The vast majority however, seem to be Lebanese Salafis. Infact, there is no evidence so far that Fat7 Al Islam has any Palestinian memebers at all.
2. Lebanese media station NewTV reaired today a report on Fath al-Islam which reveals their al-Qiada connections, including using al-Qiada training tactics. It also has a secret recording of Fath al-Islam leaders talking about stockpiling weapons, admiration for al-Qiada and harsh anti-Syrian criticism. Lebanese and Saudi accents can clearly be recognized from the report: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 5701836691
3. Many Lebanese local and foriegn media reports (foriegn journalists include Robert Fisk and Seymour Hersh among others) have alleged, based on information ranging from Lebanese government sources to US government sources, that PM Fouad Sanyura allowed Fath al-Islam (among other groups) members to enter Lebanon and infiltrate the Palestinian camps and stockpile weapons and recieve Harriri funding. According to these reports, Sanyura expressed hope that these extremist al-Qiada-like Salafist groups would form a counterbalance to Hezbollah.
4. The incident started when ISF (private Harriri militia) members were following Fath al-Islam memebers who had robbed a Harriri owned bank of $1,500. They traced the robbers to an office in an apartment in a building in Tripoly, and when they tried to storm it they discovered it was an office for Fath al-Islam. They then called in the Lebanese army in, but didnt inform the Lebanese army about the real security threat and reality of the situation, and the Lebanese army sent in a small number of troops who were ambushed by an overwhelming Fath al-islam force. It turns out that Fath al-Islam had a heavy presence in that area, not just one office.
5. Today, Lebanese Army General Micheal Suleiman strongly blamed the ISF for not informing the Lebanese army about their operation beforehand, and not investigating the area properly before calling the Army in, and leading Lebanese Army troops into an ambush, and he strongly opposed any political decision to enter the camps as this would spark fighting and bombings and attacks all across Lebanon, from North to South, not only in Tripoly. Fath al-Islam have already warned of expanding the battle outside of North Lebanon.
6. Some of the shelling of the Palestinian Nahr al-Bared camp has been indiscriminate (Fath al-Islam are heavily imbedded in the camp which is densely populated with over 40,000 civilians, it is the base of their operations and the Lebanese army is using Vietnam-era tank artillery to pound the camp), and some innocent Palestinian civilians (including women and children) have been killed and ijured. All the Palestinian factions in Lebanon have come out against Fath al-Islam and are denouncing it. However, Samir Jeajea and his LF officials, as well as many Harrir supporters are calling for the camp to be stormed by the Lebanese army, alleviating fears of another Ain al-Tineh or Sabra & Shatila incident in Lebanon.
7. Two separate explosions have gone off in the past 24 hours in different. One in North Lebanon yesterday, and one in West Beirut (just minutes ago), .
8. The Lebanese Army has surrounded the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian camp in Sidon, where the Jund al-Sham are displaying a heavily millitary presence.
9. Two of the Fath al-Islam memebers who have been killed so far were Lebanese suspects in an investigation of a terrorist plot to bomb German trains last year, bu they were released after personal intercessions by the Harriri family.
Hezbollah's position: No Majlis Shura members have commented publically yet, but Hezbollah has released two official statements thus far, expressing support for the Lebanese army's role in providing security, and warning strongly against escalation of the conflict, as well as warning against attempts by some government officials and local factions to escalate this conflict in order to spark sectarian fighting as well as Lebanese-Palestinian fighting.

When false religion is established, when all avenues of protest are closed, when potential revolutionaries are bribed, coopted or killed, then Hussein's model teaches man to be a martyr, and by his death witness to the truth and shake the evil empire:

Imperialists and Zionists(and those who aid them) should be the focus of our efforts. Not Sunni, Shia, Christians, and Jews. People with power have been using religion to divide those they oppress for millennia. But you'd think by now those tactics would be less effective. It's like race-baiting in the US. I've met alot of militant blacks and they still believe the governments persecution of them is because of their race, when it's because of their class. Like Immortal Technique said: He's got more in common with a poor white Christian than a rich black/hispanic Muslim.

exactly so if hezbollah is against zionism then they surely they must be against puppets of the zionists so why on earth support the lebanese army who never helped them ?Phys1905 wrote:Why not focus your attention on the Zionist Christians and Jews, like Ryan suggest?ne0aes0p wrote:The Salafist / Wahhabist need to be destroyed! We at least know that all muslims are against zionism per say.
