"All those rumors about war by the beginning of April – the 6th is often mentioned as The Day – which once seemed a bit far-fetched look very credible at this particular moment. If it is the sixth, its significance as the date the U.S. entered World War I will not be overlooked. The consequences of an American attack on Iran will signal the beginning of a new and terrible world war, one that will not only embroil the Middle East, from the shores of Lebanon to the wilds of Waziristan, but also spill over into Russia and reverberate throughout Europe.
And for what? Or, rather, for whom?
There is only one country on earth that benefits in any way from a Western collision with the Persians, and its current rulers haven't been shy about openly calling for war. The Israelis have stated, loudly and often, that Iranian possession of nuclear technology represents an "existential threat" to the Jewish state, and they've threatened to take out Iran's nuclear facilities if we fail in our duty to do so. They way things are going, however, it looks like they won't have to …
The Lobby moved quickly to bend Western politicians to its will, including "antiwar" Democrats in the U.S. Congress. Having been given a green light to invade by Speaker Pelosi and her minions, is it any wonder that the War Party is crossing that nonexistent line in the Shatt al Arab – the Rubicon of our imperial ambitions?
If ever we needed that long-rumored but seemingly moribund resolution of Sen. James Webb, which was supposed to be the upper house's equivalent of the fallen "don't invade Iran" provision nixed by Pelosi, it is now
"
Notice my senator James Web opposed them. See they do listen if you ride them long enough.

Sure, they had the right to capture them. But they are not in a position to do such a thing strategically speaking. They are well aware of an impending attack on their country, why give the U.S/Israel/Britian a justification for an attack?
Just a stupid move on their part. Return those soldiers now before this thing escalates. They need to Stop this childish "You better apologize for your booboo" crap.

I would agree with that statement had those soldiers been caught on the Iranian side of the fence. But so far there isn't enough evidence to conclude anything. The only thing we have is two soldiers that 'admitted' to being on the Iranian side of the border, but even that is sketchy.

american captured iranians in iraq just a couple of months ago, this is simply a rebuttal for the same situation, whatever the deal is for any country to go to war over this matter is preposterous. Iranians don't want (khameini nor ahmandinejsad wouldnt want it for this situation) and it would the people of this country and britain would see the point in the bombing of nuclear facilities just for this simple yet complicated incursion. It would be nice if they were released, but this is politics, or in other words bullshit, and the iranian government wants a victory in american media after a long season of being bashed, however it is my opininon zionist controlled media and govt would never accept this just because they have a lie with lots of good support, so they believe they can maximize this incident, preparing for whatever comes next. Thats my version of the political breakdown of this incident, in the end I don't think the Iranian govt can survive global opinion no matter the truth, and the marines will be released in due time, the zionist have probably thought of this already
If I was Iran I would have shipped them right where they came from to Iraq, drop them off in the middle of Fallujah.
Or say ok they are free please send Blair to come pick them up.

When false religion is established, when all avenues of protest are closed, when potential revolutionaries are bribed, coopted or killed, then Hussein's model teaches man to be a martyr, and by his death witness to the truth and shake the evil empire:
