London Freedom Protests

Post by KhunHan » Tue Jun 29, 2021 1:40 pm

You're normally so good with your research. But not wrt the London freedom marches. No, we do not currently get direct personal access to our politicians. We can email them, which many of us do frequently. My MP, Andrew Gwynne, engaged with me, and he now consistently votes against covid restrictions. At last Saturday's protest, we besieged the (sealed off) Houses of Parliament and then filled Whitehall, surrounding the (locked) entrance to Downing Street. You can see some short vids I took at both places and uploaded to my Khun Han @tambonsi twatter account. The prevoius demo besieged the BBC building, with a smaller (but still significant) protest at the BBC's Media City headquarters near Manchester. If you feel the need to take the piss out of the UK protests (which are going viral btw) Ryan, at least do your research first.
