Continued, this can possibly be more than Jewish idenitarianism or Jewish identity politics (I do not hate Jewish people in general). Remember that Chomsky is a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Arizona, both of which do "defense research", which I almost guarantee means that they are tied in with the military-industrial complex. If they are tied to the MIC, that would mean that Chomsky would be incentivized to do damage control to protect the profits of the institutions that employ him.
