Vice President Dick Cheney’s stock options in Halliburton rose from $241,498 in 2004 to over $8 million in 2005, an increase of more than 3,000 percent, as Halliburton continues to rake in billions of dollars from no-bid/no-audit government contracts.

Buying any Halliburton stock would mean that you were funding militarism. Military action kills people. Unless you're suggesting stealing Dick's money. I'm all for it.

heh yeah. I wouldn't buy halliburton stock for profit. If I did buy it I would use all of the profits to campaign against halliburton.

Imagine how awesome that would be.

Oh yeah, and owning 1 share of stock means you can show up to the meetings yeah?

no you could not show up at meetings. but you would get letters and financial statements etc sent to you. I know I had it for Disney and coca-cola which I bought when I was like 13 and then sold off as I became more aware. You can get all that anyway on the web though. Before it would be hard to find but not now, not with the internet.
