This is disgraceful, the liberal media create a circle jerk of moral signaling to each other whenever they can. The don't really care about anything else in the world accept showing how progressive they are.

This shit happens get over yourself liberals, its not the end of the world. Though I would argue that liberals will be the end of the west and a free society.(Bake that cake or go to jail)

so political correctness makes it ok to bring a replica bomb to school as long as you're a Muslim now, hmmm interesting times.

How the f*ck was an English teacher supposed to know? even with my electrical and electronic background I would have had to give it a second look. Suitcase bombs are a real thing, they're even worse than a Confederate flag.

Well, it doesn't look like a clock, that's for sure. I was never too much into tinkering as a child outside of recording/playback devices like microphones, tape recorders and phone-tapping devices but I would have never brought a tape recorder to school because they weren't allowed.

We couldn't hand held video games, calculator watches, or even comic books to school. So if clock wasn't for a specific assignment or a show and tell, what the hell was this kid thinking?

That being said, arresting the guy and the over reaction by everyone involved, including the media, the president etc is ridiculous.

The student is an aspiring engineer. He never presented the item as a bomb nor tried to scare people with it.
Its fine to question it and inspect further. What is not fine is to call the police and then be handcuffed, interrogated by 5 investigators without his parent or parents present even tho the kid asked for them. It was an over reaction by the entire organization.

Its so odd to me that a so call libertarian have no issue with this. Raoul you are just a wannabe.

I'm well past my libertarian phase, libertarians these days, well hyper signaling libertarians are getting so much similar to liberals in a social setting its very off putting.

I continually modify and change my political and social philosophies as I grow, things change in the world.

That's great! Normally people evolve and progress to a more liberal idea as they get more educated. I guess that's the difference from just growing old and wisdom.
