Im not so sure he will be there 35yrs. The verdict was just this week if I recall correctly.
I thought the guy was just gay? Not that he wanted a sex change. I could care less really. Maybe he is scared he will get beat-up/raped in prison so he wants to live in a womens prison.

He's going to be in a men's prison. Only those who've have sex-change surgery are sent to women's prisons. There's no hormone therapy either.

So I just got back from Vancouver and there was a Sryian war protest/free "Chelsea" Manning demonstration outside my hotel and I was so confused about the Chelsea thing. Now it makes sense. Geez does the LGTB angle have to get worked into everything?
