long ago kids, people played music on instruments and wrote their own songs

Sesame Street rocked so does Mr. Wonder. For you kids out there, back in the day people played music not just on machines but with their own air, hands, and feet on things called instruments. They even wrote their own songs. And TV used to have educational programs for kids. Rather than child-adults in New Jersey being jackasses.

Johann Von Goethe, once said, there are none more hopelessly enslaved, than those who falsely believe they are free.

"...Government is best which governs not at all; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government which they will have."
. For government is an expedient, by which men would fain succeed in letting one another alone; and, as has been said, when it is most expedient, the governed are most let alone by it. - Henry David Thoreau

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

I grew up watching Sesame Street, a long long time ago. A few years ago, while watching it on VHS with my kid, I ran into this, its my favorite ABC's song.

"When people learn to identify the source and nature of these influences swirling around them, it is sufficient. Let the American people once understand that it is not natural degeneracy but calculated subversion that inflicts us, and they are safe. The explanation is the cure." -- Henry Ford, 1922

Sesamestreet had some serious funk in it. I don't know who wrote the tunes but these guys were professionals beating out anyone in this decade on musicality alone in my opinion.
