Best (partial) answer in the comments:
The "anti-war" left are on their knees waiting for Obama to shoot his money shot in their faces.
He should have stopped there.

Obama ran on closing Gitmo and then recently passed the NDAA to detain Americans indefinitely.

Because they aren't truly anti-War. they were just anti-RightWing fucken hypocrites.
If anyone claims to be anti-War, they would be supporting Ron Paul with out a doubt regardless if he has an R, D, or XYZ by his name.

such passion. I just wanted you to know that I am supporting Paul and I do defened him when people say he can't win. My state does not vote until May but next door in SC the go in a few weeks. I hope Paul stops in NC on the way down, he used to live here when hewent to Duke. It would make sense for him to speak there with UNC only 7 miles away and nc state just 30 minutes more, Paul could have the biggest rally we have seen yet. Those are three huge schools and Raleigh is a decent size city. Stop here first Dr. Paul, because a rally that big would make the local news in NC and SC despite the msm.

Ry you need an updated thread showing how Obama is
NOT anti-War. Related:

This is a frustrating issue for me personally, because I have loads of liberal friends. Many were claiming to be anti-War when Bush was in office but somehow when Obama does it, its ok.

thanks ry. maybe that's why i found this site a few years ago . . . i was looking for people who were truly in their hearts anti-war. sometimes i wonder if i'm the freak for caring because so many people don't. when i see you almost crying at the end of the video i think about what must make someone who enjoys fighting care so much about people being killed. i think maybe it has something to do with native american heritage but that can't be it. i dunno. when i was like 4 and i was told the whole jesus story i cried, asking why they had to kill him. maybe most people just aren't empathetic or something. whatever the case, i agree, the anti-war left never existed. i know because i was a part of it too. i was out in the streets with them in san francisco back in 2005. its disappointing to find out it was just a talking point for the left to capitalize on. stupid me for actually giving a shit about the murdered and occupied. =/
whatever the case i've long since split ties with democrats because of their hypocrisy on this issue.

They are all pro-war long as it's one of them in power doing the murders.that explains why they won't even back Ron Paul the only anti-war candidate.
