Natives legalize same sex marriage

A Native group in Oregan has legalized gay marriage. The Coquille Indians have made it legal for same sex couples to marry and a lesbian couple has already gotten married.

I wonder if something like this is what brought the Village People together.

I didn't know they could grant marriage licenses. That's pretty cool.

If other tribes did the same thing around the country, they might be able to effectively legalize it for any same sex couples willing to drive out to a reservation.
