John Edwards has admitted to having an extra marital affair during his wife's intense battle with cancer. For anyone who doesn't know Edwards, was a Senator, John Kerry's VP and came in third behind Hillary Clinton for the Democratic party nomination. His mistress has a child and there is some discussion as to weather Edwards is the father or not. Rielle Hunter worked for Edwards in 2006 during their affair but there hasn't been word yet on how long it lasted.

Embarrassingly I admit that I was planning on voting for Edwards (before I heard about Ron Paul of course) because he had a one year time table set for troop withdraw in Iraq. He also spoke of a more complete troop withdraw than Obama. On the war issue Edwards was actually closer to Ron Paul than any of the other two party candidate. But he is pro-Israel and a globalist and for that I doubt I'll ever vote for him. I very highly doubt John Edwards will have a future in politics .

Yeah, that was a pretty crumbing thing to do. I mean, isn't it terminal cancer she has?

The thing that always gets me is I read the stats that shows that nearly 80% of all couples will have to deal with some type of infidelity but as soon as anyone hears of anyone else who cheats: the stones come out. I'm not about to assume I know the dynamics of his relationship to judge him or her but of course he is the one in the wrong cause he cheated and she has cancer. Maybe he is having a difficult time coping with the loss of the future he was suppose to have with his wife. There are thousands of reasons people cheat. I just don’t see it so black and white so shoot me.

Did he start cheating before he knew his wife had cancer?
