Aaron wrote:that site, is just aweful. their webmaster is amateur at best. that article has no author signature, and also no sourcing. also, it's not like the page is even specific. i mean, it should be something like "palestine.htm" or something, instead, it is "history.htm" right on the root of the site. gee bob. that sends the message to me that the site is generalizing this situation into general history. it is unsourced, unsigned, unprofessional, and unreliable.
i wouldn't think it wouldn't take much more than just reading that page to know it's biased, pro-zionist propaganda. unless of course you are a zionist in which case you might hold that as some sort of good literary material, it's not, and i would hope that all non-zionists with more than a few working brain cells could figure that out.
use our forum search here, and search for the word 'palestine'. spend some time reading, palestine's been talked about a lot here and there are a lot of source links spread across many threads. look for ry's busy threads you might find what you're looking for quicker.
don't use the search word 'israel' or 'zionist' because that will pull up a ton more info that will just take you longer to find out what you're really looking for.
i'd suggest using a search engine also, but that too can be tedious, as the subject is commonly buried under a lot of other shit, and hard to find.
however, i'd like to also point out, t hat palestine hasn't got any real hard documented information as far as from officials, the only "official" documents you can find are of course in favor of the people with the most wealth and power, the zionists. their false information is far more widely propagated while information from palestinian officials is suppressed.
the winner of wars is always the one who gets to write (their version) of the history about the wars (or conflicts). so it should be no surprise then that the "mainstream" version of event histories was created and passed down to them by the victors of said conflict. with book burnings and evidence destruction and censorship, finding information provided by the losing side of the conflict becomes rare.

links not working for me today, it was yesterday but something cropt up and i didn't get a chance to read it.
i recall the link trying to prove that "palestine did not exist" because the holy land was controlled by the Turks and then England and then the zionists, well that argument is deeply flawed and i've heard many zionists use it.
When Turkey and England controlled the holy land they did not deny the fact that there was a palestinian people with their own culture, most palestinians are muslims, many are christians and they also had a small albeit proud jewish community, most palestinians jews are anti-zionist, they have been stripped off their ethnic identity and branded as "native israelis" and the non-jewish Palestinians have also been stipped off their ethnic identity and branded as "arabs"; this simplistic genralisation of the non-jewish palestinian people confuses the West because Iraqis, Jordanians, Syrians, Egyptions, etc. are also "arabs" and when you deny the existence of the palestinian people and call them "arabs" it implies that they belong else where and that the holy land is not their homeland.
The total Palestinian population worldwide is estimated to be between 10 and 11 million people, over half of whom are stateless, lacking citizenship in any country.

Zionist pigs have claimed that in 1948 and 1967 many palestinians "left", but such claims are bs. see David Ben-Gorion dairies he said "i see nothing immorel in compulsory transfer".
The claim that they left is bullshit, why would half of them just "leave" their homeland, on top of the fact that this is the holy land for all 3 of the abrahamic religions.
Palestine was partially ethnically cleansed because it was almost impossible to get rid of all the Palestinians, and other Arab countries had to intervene to put an end to the enthnic cleansing, but zionist pigs tried to claim that they were trying to drive the jews into the sea, but that is bs, they only intervened when things were getting really bad to halt to the ethnic cleansing, and they should have intervened sooner, they should also be held morally responsable for intervening so damn late when most of the damage was done because turning a blind eye at the beginning of the ethnic cleansing brought the demise of the palestinian nation, the palestinians are one nation with 2 non-states and the rest are scattered else where.
750,000 Palestinians were kicked out in 1948, although Israeli scholer Tanya Reinhart claimed that it was over a million in her book.
read The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine by jewish historian Ilan Pappe, it does have some errors in it, but it liberally quotes IDF records so much of it cannot be denied.
Ilan Pappe quotes:
"Israel systematically expelled half of the Palestinian population. Think of a country that has half of its population been expelled after the World War II"
"If you don’t understand colonialism, ethnic cleansing and the war for freedom, you can’t understand Palestine (Cause)."
"I can tell you that I do know, the Israeli academia, day by day, is playing a role in maintaining the occupation"
The UN also demands the palestinian right of return, i can't remember the res. number, can someone help me out with that bit?

Hope that helps.

not sure why, perhaps someone else can help you out with that, but so what if it looks very similer? what difference does it make?, Jordan is not Palestine and and Palestinians belong in Palestine not Jordan.
the thing is the middle-east was divided in 1947, Jordan, Lebanon and many other Arab countries were named then (well thats what i learnt in carters book).
There has never been an internationally recognized country called Palestine technically speaking, but Palestine was under the British mandate before Israel was created, and before that it was part of the ottoman empire - i dont see how that is relevant - the point is there exists a people called palestinians who have been driven out of their land, are living under occupation, and moreover under oppression! the people were there regardless of whether the country qualified as a country or whether it was a colony under british rule etc.
take a look at this timeline it might help you understand the complicated history of the country http://www.palestine-net.com/history/bhist.html the palestinians are an ethnic mix - as a result of centuries of foreign occupation.
there is a map of historical palestine available somewhere on the site, Gaza and West Bank make up 22% of historical palestine, egypt used to control gaza and jordan used to control west bank, israel ruthlessly stole them in the 1967 war, during the '67 war israel stole golan heights from syrai, 90% of its inhibitants who are mostly druiz arabs were kicked out, and israel also stole the sinai peninsula off egypt, when carter was in office he forced israel to give back the sinai peninsula, thats why they hate him.
