Columbus was a died hard Italian/Portuguese Catholic who sailed for Spain. There is nothing Jewish about him. The ships he used were a towns way of repaying their debt to the King for the kings war kicking the Jews out of Spain. By the way he named a ship after Mother Mary and then named the Island he decided he "discovered" San Slavado, the savior after JESUS CHRIST.
