The student is being accused of simply taking out the electrical components of a commercial alarm clock, screwing it inside of a case and passing it off as his own creation.

Richard Dawkins tweeted the video and was attacked by Huffington Post and people on Twitter, who ignored the evidence of fraud and focused on Dawson's theory on why the student faked the building of a clock and called him a bunch of names.

Richard Dawkins needs to stick with biology and leave the physics/mathematics to physical scientist. Its been my experience that biologist have very limited math and physical science knowledge. Dawkins is also a militant atheist.

For removing the components of a commercial alarm clock, screwing it inside of carrying case and passing it off as something he built from scratch? Seriously?

Encouraging fraud is exactly the opposite of what we need in education.

And I'm no fan of Dawkins or these mainstream atheists, and I know that they are pointing out this fraud for stupid reasons, but they are right for pointing it out.

And I'm disappointed as Mike Rivero, who seems to fancy himself as a scientist of sorts, for pushing the mainstream narrative and completely ignoring that, apparently, all this student did was remove the components of a commercial alarm clock and screwed it inside of carrying case.

We should support these kids. He now goes to a better school, slit of good came out of this for him.

I wonder if he will be wearing his NASA t-shirt to suggest that he is a future graduate of MIT's astrophysicist department
