I'm more inclined to agree with Ry for the most part, but the terms have been misconstrued and perverted from what I've been able to determine. That's why the definition is a farce.

Neocon was around long before Alex Jones ever uttered it. Neoliberal is a European term because the liberals over there are the conservatives and the conservatives are the liberals to show you how hallow the term is. But in America which undoubtably is what counts most and where it all started, the liberals are the left. And they are not libertarians. Even if you were a legit antiwar liberal, if you're not for economic freedom and individual rights, you're not a libertarian. Liberals agree with tings like affirmative action, massive welfare, and though to less a degree than republicans, a war on drugs, genrally promote global warming myths feminist myths, and are sometimes anti-gun and ignorantly are anti-business as they foolishly support government regulations. Some go as far as to support illegal immigration. It's also a party of higher taxes though the rhetoric is on the rich but the reality is not.

Just being pro-choice and not prejudice to gay people doesn't make you a liberal. Abortion is usually more of a religious issue with some people deciding based on faith that humans are instantly people at the touch of sperm and egg and others looking at the evidence of it and seeing that that is indeed not the actual case. Not hating gays is commonsense.

in 96 i voted for ross perot, in 2000 i voted for w because he ran on a platform of no nation building etc and i had no internet, besides there was no choice in 2000, in 04 i voted for alan keys because i was in TN and he was the best one on the ticket, 08 i voted for Ron Paul obviously even though i had to write it in and it was never counted, in 2012 i will do the same. So I have voted 3rd party twice including my first time voting when I turned 18 so I never fell for picking a team or any of that tribalist bullshit.
