that article skipped right over Ralph Lane and his slaughter of Indians in NC and went to Jamestown.

How is it that the first 4 trips by the English to the New World are alway forgotten and everything starts with Jamestown or worse yet Plymouth in some cases.

As a side note did you now Wingina the first Indian Chief murdered by the English was killed on 4/20 of 1586?

I know and when I read that I thought about you and how important the history you are writing is.

Nobody know jack about that and probly 50% I knowon the abandoned colony came from you and your books and 50% from living on the island and digging around.

You've got to get the history out to more people. At least its on radio record and written record already. It is early American history one always skipped over. Now why? Its not like they had to hide killing indians. They did plenty of it later. Might be because ROckefaller bough and own colonial williamsburg?? When I teach US history I am starting with your book when I get to the English.

Oh I do have more books now. I changed it from the original printy to include the Lindy Miller story and added more about the digs. I will set aside 30 books for you to use when you start teaching in the USA. It would be especially good if you taught in NC.

It is important not just the Native American stuff I did but the whole thing. I think it really demonstrates the mindset of the English government and the people who came over. Jamestown had learned a ton from these earlier voyages
