ron paul has like 30 different commercial but they are not national, many of them are in NH. he is also on the radio there. I predict he will get between 19 and 23% of the NH vote which is enough for first place. McCain will get 2nd and Huckabee will finish last. NH has twice as many college graduates as iowa.iowa is a holy roller state full of biggots especially in the republican party

I live in South Carolina and I can tell you I am hearing many radio commercials daily on both Neocon radio and Air America, which I think is great.

i keep hearing that Iowa is full of holy rollers, but I was just up there volunteering for Paul's campaign and I can tell you without much of a doubt that that state is voting democrat. I can't tell you how many people slammed the door in my face when they heard "republican" which i only mentioned if they asked.

as far as the republican party by itself, which i am going to assume you are talking about, the yes...it is full of religious nutcases...i mean at the caucus i was at, we had an old as fucking grandma cheering, marching up and down with her romney sign. she looked like a fucking toy soldier. I think she had to be three sheets to the wind or something, but there were a ton of religious people...or should i say christians. i mean they opened the thing with a prayer mentioning christ, and the guy who gave the (2-3 min) speech for paul had, HAD, to mention a lot of things regarding christianity and pro-choice shit just to get some clapping and cheers from the neocons.

i was surprised at how fucking stupid people really are....i mean its one thing to know it, but its quite another thing to actually talk to a lot of these people and witness it with your own eyes...

it's scary.

but anyways, good news is, i am waay more motivated now for some odd reason and i think we will do very well in NH and hopefully that'll catch on along with Jim Condit Jr. cases *crosses fingers* to count the votes in public (which they effectively did in iowa-i got to tally the votes along with another paul supporter with supporters of all candidates watching)

someone posted this on myspace...

figure this crowd'll enjoy it:

Ex-LP Director to Blame for Iowa?

Should former Libertarian Party executive director Joe Seehusen resign due to the Iowa caucus “controversy?” After all, he was hired to run Ron Paul’s campaign in Iowa…

Here’s the latest (c/o MeetUp-294) from the Pork State, and I’ve included a MeetUp group-generated map that shows how well – or bad – Ron Paul did last night in each county.

Dear all:

I sincerely regret to inform you that today, the [Get Out The Vote] day, the biggest day of the whole Iowa campaign for the 300 students up here, was completely destroyed—and the circumstances point towards a deliberate sabotage.

We were told from the very beginning that all of our hard work would be
nought if we didn’t hit Iowa hard on January 3rd.

Our job? Call every Ron Paul supporter in the state (our numbers were bigger than Huckabee’s), man as many precincts as possible, drive voters around, pick people up, get them back home, check voters off as they come in, &c., &c..

We were told to be ready to leave camp at 9 a.m.
...

We were ready.

But then at 2:30 in the morning, all the camp leaders received a phone call
that the database the Des Moines office put together of all our phone
banking and door-to-door canvassing was totally scrambled, jumbled, and even partly deleted. All the data was scattered and completely jumbled. Missing phone numbers. Missing precincts. A big box of random data. Thousands and thousands of voters.

The original file was supposed to have broken all voters down into counties
and precincts. Didn’t happen.

Each page was supposed to be correlated with precinct captains and chairmen.

Didn’t happen.

We were looking at a day of turning out over 17,000 voters. We maybe called
300.

We picked up nobody.

We manned no caucuses.

Now I’m not conspiracy theory, but I believe there have been issues involving the staff that Ron Paul’s campaign has hired – many of them former Libertarian Party activists and officials. What does the TPW community think about this?

What hurt Paul in Iowa was his opposition to Ethanol.

unfortunately..i think that there's a big chance that foul play WAS involved.

we were supposed to get that list...and there was a bunch of confusion. headquarters in Des Moines asked for ALL our information and supporters and then THEY were supposed to put it all in a nice little package (email) with all that was mentioned above. The headquarters/camp i was in was fucked. We were told to "sit tight and wait for the list" which was supposed to be done days ago and then the night before. but we didn't get "the list" until 4PM the DAY OF THE CAUCUS.

HOW THE FUCK ARE WE SUPPOSED TO CALL ALL THOSE PEOPLE IN A COUPLE HOURS AND PICK PPL UP ETC.??????

So the list they sent us. it consisted of *drum roll*

ALL THE SUPPORTERS IN ALL of IOWA.

WE had to pick out all the supporters in the county and then precincts and we didn't have enough time to call even a quarter of the people.

we could have easily managed this sooo much better if we never turned in out info to des moines and done it ourselves....sooo much easier...

yeah....and the youth coordinator who was in charge of all the students said on a conference call 2 nights before that said "if we turn out the supporters you guys have got....theres gonna be BIG news....I can't tell you the exact numbers guys but it's good and there's gonna be BIG news"

so yeah, Thanks khanverse. My personal experience there totally agrees with and backs up what was written there.

the North East usually votes the opposite of the Midwest so this is good news for Paul.
