No way Rude and Muta are bronze. Rude was one of the greatest heels ever and Muta's matches in Japan were legandary.

I would also put Hall & Nash in the gold category

Piper is also god tier. He would have had a way longer carrer if not for wrestling politics and being constantly stabbed by puerto ricans

Rude was never the world champion. He was a great great wrestler and a real life badass abut his time was cut short after that match with Sting. Rude's feud with Jake Roberts was excellent.
But he wasn't Ricky Steamboat or Machoman Level, those guys were also IC champions and world champions. I dont think Rude had that kind of legendary match as the silvers had. Gold is about persona too. I mean Hulk wasn't the best in ring wrestler but his gimmick was over and even kids in Japan know who he is. He is the most recognizable and famous wrestler in the world.

By Wrestlers' choice they say the best they've been in the ring with was Shawn Michaels. I heard Flair say HBK and Steamboat at different times.
I think the Rock could have passed them all if he didn't turn to movies. He left when he was redhot and healthy and he had the best mic skills period.
I think Stone COld's injury took him out early too. He came back with that WHAT gimmick and got over again.

I thought about putting Rude in silver and Y2J in gold, but great as Jericho was he never hit that Rock / Stone Cold/ Undertaker level.

Hall and Nash were overrated. Hall maybe Bronze Nash no. he wasn't good on the mic he wasn't a great wrestler, he just hung around as a tall guy in a stable. Maybe they did better in WCW, this is a WWF/WWE centric list.

Tag Teams

LOD
Hart Foundation
Demolition
Owen Hart & Yokozuna
Rockers
Mega powers
Rock n Sock
Harlem Heat
New day
Ted Dibiase & IRS
Wild samoans
4 horsemen (not sure if they count as a tag team)

My list is also very WWF centric as the only wreslting on TV in French canada was wwf. it was their territory. I only started getting WCW right before the monday night wars started so never saw NWA or midsouth.

As far as guys never holding the belt thats a promotions decision.
A lot of great guys never held the belt because of politics in the locker room. I dont think that disqualifies anyone from a list. If it was up to me I would have put the belt on Dean Malenko even though he's only 5'9.

ok guys you pretty much got it. WWE my #1 is the bionic redneck. but if truly pressed at a party late night somewhere my fav ever is new jack. any real wrestling guy should know why, in ring , out ring, on mic, this guy was a beast. true to character... after a few beers i would keep going till a scene broke out, but a friendly one

I can not lie the Rock is the best on mic.

Very very closely, Austin tho it pains me to say it is number two

foley #3

Y2J is up there

I'm def forgetting some

special moves next....
