Brilliant speech Ry!
My wife & I are duly motivated to get community active in our support of Ron Paul.
Thanks for the encouagement.
We won't let them count on our apathy anymore!
Johann Von Goethe, once said, there are none more hopelessly enslaved, than those who falsely believe they are free.

"...Government is best which governs not at all; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government which they will have."
. For government is an expedient, by which men would fain succeed in letting one another alone; and, as has been said, when it is most expedient, the governed are most let alone by it. - Henry David Thoreau

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Let me point out that there is a definite naivety-factor involved in voting for any candidate that shows up on political office. And especially for Presidents or Congresspeople.

If you don't realise that anyone showing up on the ballot is already bought and paid-for, you are in denial.....PERIOD.

Ron Paul may be an exception. His "pro-life" stance is pure BS, but that can be overlooked because he seems to know that the Fed & bankers are working on stealing your real assets (house and land) as we speak. But get real, if he did get elected (which he won't) and he really did try to dismantle the fed, he would be "Kennedied".

It's all about demographics, baby boom is over, they've stolen what cash they could from you by using China slave labor, that's been milked and phase 2 starts this year.

abortion is a judicial decision so that irrelevant. There are also other things on the ballot not just people running for office but referendums. For example 8 states have referendums on legalizing medical marijuana this year.

Usually the names on a ballot are bought and paid for but not always, Before Paul there was Nader, and in the past esp in congressional races there are real people running. Karen Kwiatkowski is running this year for example.
