My 2 cents... Any study of the "illuminati" must take into account two major points on which there can be no contention.
The original Bavarian Illuminati were started as an esoteric secret organisation which drew its membership almost exclusively from within the Masonic lodges of Europe (a secret society within a secret society), and the money that started the original organisation (whose existence at that time in the late 18th century has been confirmed, but whose continued existence is THEORY) came from, predominantly, the Rothschild, Schiff, and Conn families - have a look into those families and see if you can spot their political proclivities, and you shall see that Zionism has much to do with the beginnings of freemasonic Illuminism. This is the first point that I'd like to raise - that the original "Ancient Illuminated Seers of Bavaria" were started with Zionist money.
Secondly, a carful study made of the symbolism of Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism and Illuminism reveals that much of their symbology is Talmudic, specifically that the esoteric doctrines of such societies have at their core a particular variant of the Babylonian Q'abbalah known as the Lurian Q'abbalah.
If the Illuminati still exist, it may be inferred that it is far more likely that they were and are a creature constructed from within the Zionist conspiracy rather than the other way around (as people such as Alex Jones or Texe Marrs claim, again with no solid chronology backed up bay evidence), specifically as a system to further consolidate power by drawing secret associations between powerful men who may not have inherently had a Zionist philosophy themselves, but who have had this world view subtly conditioned into them using an alternative, artificial system of symbolism constructed from within the Babylonian Talmud which does not call itself Zionist - it calls itself, variously, Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism and Illuminism/Illuminised Masonry.
I agree with Ry here that there is extremely little evidence of the Illuminati in the modern day other than many organisations that claim to be them or their descendents with no proof presented that stands up to scrutiny.

It was indeed done in front of a pyramid, the 2 towers & building 7, & in front of them was a pyramid on top of the building near the front of the wreckage area. I invite you to present some EVIDENCE that the Illuminati still exist - never mind your other unsupported assertions. It is true that they were an organisation that were started in 1776 blah blah blah - but it is also true according to the same historical record you cite that they were summarily disbanded and outlawed in Europe by legal decree. There is NO evidence that they still exist beyond the claims made by organisations such as Skull and Bones that they continue their legacy.

I invite you to present some EVIDENCE that the Illuminati still exist - never mind your other unsupported assertions. It is true that they were an organisation that were started in 1776 blah blah blah - but it is also true according to the same historical record you cite that they were summarily disbanded and outlawed in Europe by legal decree. There is NO evidence that they still exist beyond the claims made by organisations such as Skull and Bones that they continue their legacy.
