Simple. They chose the candidate who was charismatic and least connected to AIPAC, and didn't think through their decisions at all.

The problem with all that is, they could have had Ron Paul who would have been "TRUE CHANGE" if they ignored the news media and just voted where it counted.

Without any election fraud Ron Paul could have won the popular vote so easily its crazy.

However, they went with the media and the media forecast spit out Obama. Well he's not all much better, picked a right wing Zionist hack as his protoje and now is installing Eric Holder. So he's still able to be blackmailed/shoved around due to his groveling to AIPAC.

And it's untrue that you have to grovel to AIPAC, the real Jewish vote is with J-street & the American Jewish Committee. But no, in this context he is cow-towing to them and since AIPAC is very harmful to the country this is not good for any candidate.

AIPAC is so powerful they didn't even need election fraud past 2006 (thank goodness) to get their candidates into office, because the mainstream picks for President are forced to grovel at the feet of AIPAC anyway. And kiss their ass many times over. Ron Paul of course, didn't even need to show up at AIPAC to get elected. He could have been president anyway. He still could be and he's definitely a hell of a better pick for president than all these picks.

Probably not because AIPAC has been in the news a lot so around half the country has at least heard of them by now, not all of them know that it's the official Israel Lobby but enough of them do.......It's been all over the internet and various media for a while....

I bet it was more distracting to read about Sarah Palin and all those political scandals though, it kind of defeats the purpose of an election if all you're going to focus on is celebrity gossip...

Obama was more connected to AIPAC than anyone else. YOu guys reading tha one article by Richard Perle's Jpost got fooled. Obama's advisor before and after getting elected is Rahm Israel Emanuel the spokesman for AIPAC on their executive Board and their man in congress.

The people getting news from comedy central, SNL, and CNN just had no clue. They knew about Palin buying clothes but didn't know Obama said he was in 57 states. If McCain or Palin had said something like that it would have been all over the news and you know it.

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)

71.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).

And yet.....

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes

Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)

That's ignorant as hell.

They had no idea what they were voting for. Ask them how many knew Obama voted to keep the patriot act or to finance the war in Iraq not one but three times.

That is wishful thinking. The majority of Americans have no idea what AIPAC stands for or refers to. I'd put money on it.
