Christianity considering it adopt the old testament as true, is guilty of all the same things albeit they got rid of some of the dietary taboos, and allowed work on Sunday which is actually still under debate with some sects. There really isn't that much of a difference. Christianity just added the Jesus myth which broke the racial bonds of the religion allowing greater numbers and created a savior figure. Also they tried to focus on being truthful rather than lying opportunist like Jacob, however this has not worked very well.

what bothers me is that 1 in 4 hollywood movies portray arabs negatively, this type of racism has real consequences. When someone says x, y and z about arabs and I asks them where did they hear that from its not uncommon to say movie x.

I know a teacher who's also a sub-editor of a popular muslim youth magazine who hates arabs (she her self is from a pakistani origin), just because arab regimes are oppressive she assumes all arabs are insane and support that crap (even though statistics show other wise), this view is not from the MSM as she usually ignores it or a great deal of experience with arabs since she hardly knows any, she watches a lot of movies and i'm sure its down to that, theres no other explanation for it.

There is a good book about that called the Reel Terrorists. I saw it at a Palestinian meeting I went to with Lindsey. It also goes over breifly the orginal Arabs the American Indians who dominated early American film and TV shows as target practice for cowboys. And during the wars with Japan, Korea, and Vietnam there was a lot of Asian bashing in everything from cartoons to movies.
