Russian air force jets hit a meeting of top Al-Nusra Front (Al-Qaeda franchise) leaders in north-west Syria killing and wounding over a dozen commanders of the terrorist group including its top leader, Abu Mohammad al-Julani.
According to the defense ministry of Russia, Russian fighters located an Al-Nusra Front commander gathering and attacked it with guided bombs.
Russian military reports say that 12 commanders were killed on the spot due to the airstrike whilst top Al-Nusra Front leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani was critically wounded, loosing an arm.
The attack on Al-Nusra Front’s top brass was announced by Russian defense ministry just several hours ago which also released a video showing the airstrike.

Although only reported several hours ago, the airstrike is believed to have happened several days beforehand.
